When you chose to sponsor a child, support a project, or help a missionary with Sonshine online, our website will connect you directly to Giving Fuel, our secured merchant account. This secure site will collect personal and organizational information so they can process your contributions. We do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes. Your children sponsorships, project donations, and ministry contributions are processed through Giving Fuel, our gateway company. You may be contacted to verify your information.

All credit card donations are processed through Giving Fuel, a secure third-party payment gateway for credit card payments. Giving Fuel is a highly secure third-party payment system. Because all transactions go through third parties, Sonshine does not store or retain credit card numbers. Further, we will never release your personal information to any outside party unless authorized to do so. All donations made through Sonshine Ministries are kept private over Giving Fuel’s secure network.

We try to be flexible, so we currently accept credit/debit cards and checks, bank wire transfers, stock transfers, and private equity shares. We also offer text-to-give options for US donors.

If you need to make a change or update your monthly donations, simply contact Sonshine. You can call or email us and we will quickly respond.

In order for Sonshine to protect the donations made on our site, we have strong security measures in place to guard against fraudulent transactions. Here are some common reasons that we might not have been able to process your donation:

• The billing address you entered does not match the billing address associated with your credit card.
• The security code entered does not match the one on your card.
• The expiration date entered has either passed or does not match what your bank has on record.
• Your bank has declined the charge.

Unfortunately, we are not able to reattempt a transaction once it has been declined. We ask that you submit your donation again, double-checking that your zip code, and credit card details are correct.
