The Beautiful, Growing Garden
In 2025, through kindhearted supporters, God's blessings upon Sonshine in Tanzania have been incredible. Visitors and people passing by often comment in amazement about the abundance of crops and fruit trees growing strong upon land once viewed to be difficult to grow and impossible to consistently sustain meaningful yields. The miracles often lead to Sonshine workers and children testifying about the favor and love of God and His great desire to bless the nation of Tanzania. In December, this blessing caught the eyes and hearts of some managers and employees from the nearby Kilimanjaro International Airport. They felt compelled to stop by and inquire about Sonshine. A tour through the grounds and the sharing of Sonshine's purpose and God's promises inspired the visiting group to pool together some of their own funds and resources to help bless Sonshine at year end. Know that the prayers and generosity of Sonshine's sponsors and donors around the world has been making a profound impact. For this we thank God.
Going into 2026, we are fueled by faith and your encouragement that Sonshine will soon realize full sponsorship of the partially sponsored and yet-to-be-sponsored children who have been rescued and are being cared for in Sonshine love. Pictured above are 23 of the many Sonshine children still needing sponsors. Your prayer and support in helping Sonshine reach the important goal of full sponsorship of all 74 current children are cherished and deeply appreciated. The greatest fruit and most beautiful harvest truly come from the changed lives that are begotten again to the living hope that is Jesus.
(And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.(Philippians 4:19)

Pavilion's Progress
(Status of "Hema la Mkutano" (The Tent of Meeting))
The "new pavilion" has been progressing nicely bringing with it growing anticipation and excitement. The hope for hosting a grand opening event before the April 5th Easter weekend is great. Having this multipurpose use building available for teaching, training, seminars, workshops, worship services, and community outreach has long been a key part of the original vision of Sonshine as a model ministry center in Tanzania. It was very touching to learn that the fundis (workers in Kswahili) realized that they were helping build a church building when they routinely heard worship music playing and the beautiful voices of children singing from the children's home property. When the workers were invited to the children's Christmas party in December and each worker was honored and given a gift bag loaded with essential cooking and household items just for them by a Sonshine child, the workers said "We think we want to come worship with you at the new building when it is finished."
God has been showing us that amazing breakthroughs come when we trust Him, tithe in freedom and joy, and look to bless others. Seeing Jesus' teaching in Luke 6:38 come alive before our eyes has been glorious. We are excited to move into Hema Ya Mkutano when it is ready and open up room for 16 more children to be rescued and loved in the soon-to-be-transformed chapel room - a room saturated with praise and prayer and learning and laughter. Thank you, dear supporters, for walking through this journey of faith together with us.
