The Board of Blessings

Upon the back wall of the chapel room at Sonshine's Children's Home in Tanzania is a bulletin board of sponsor photos. Watching the enthusiasm of the children point to their sponsor photos with the deepest gratitude is an unforgettable experience. It is also incredible during times of worship to watch the children dance, jump, and wave their outstretched hands towards the board asking God joyfully to bless every donor, sponsor, and supporter of Sonshine. The Swahili word for bless is "bariki". The rising, repeating chorus of "Bariki!, Bariki!, Bariki! echoes and transforms.

If there is a moment in your day where it might seem that the fullest favor and love of God is washing over you, it might be from over 60 children dancing and jumping in unison in King'ori Tanzania in a small chapel room asking God to bless you. We are looking forward to creating an even bigger board of more sponsors and donors that can be displayed on a wall in the new pavilion that we are prayerfully hoping to complete before the end of 2025. Sherpherding the Flock

Pastor Moses is one of the founding helpers of Sonshine Ministries in Tanzania. He has been an important spiritual pillar prayerfully supporting Sonshine's growth over the past 15 years. Serving as a pastoral resource for many Sonshine staff, Moses has also been an important part of ministry to the children, often leading and assisting with chapel services. His support has been greatly appreciated. All are glad to have Pastor Moses with us. "In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him." 1 John 4:9
